Your playback progress, queue, and listening history are stored securely to sync across your devices and power personalized recommendations. This data is never sold to third parties.
We store your email address and encrypted password to authenticate your account. Email verification ensures account security and enables important notifications.

EchoCast uses AI algorithms to suggest podcasts you might enjoy based on your subscribed categories, listening time, completion rates, and ratings. Recommendation processing happens on our servers. We do not share your individual listening data with external AI providers.
Verified podcasters see aggregated, anonymized data: subscriber counts, total plays, and episode performance. Podcasters cannot see individual listener identities or specific user listening history.
We send notifications for new episodes, recommendations, and messages. You can configure notification preferences or disable them entirely in your device settings.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple App Store and Google Play Store. We receive only subscription status and tier—never credit card numbers, bank accounts, or billing addresses.
